Rude Ralph

In my attempt to stay evil at all ways possible, I have been searching through the ends of the interweb for the most awesome, nay radical evil shit. I stumbled across rude ralph, which may be one of the raddest toys I've seen in a while. Everything about him. His messed up face, the fact that you can pull his eyeball out and just hold it and chill with it. I remember when these bad boys were out, the commercial for Rude Ralph blew my mind. Well now I'm  determined to find this epic evil gem, Ebay here I come. Once i win this dark, soon-to-be soldier of Gloom I will put up pictures of him raising hell. He will shred the undead to the point of no return. See you soon Rude Ralph........

Brain eating freaks

Here in Gloom headquarters (which are ideas that float around my head) has been a bit slow for a bit. But just recently it seems like the ball is starting to finally get rolling. Drawings are being tightened up. Shirt ideas are getting looked at. I would love to do a zombie series. Maybe there will be a series to be made one day. But I am finally hoping to get shirts made really soon. I have set a personal goal for Gloom and I hope to have it reached. I promise there will be more blog posts and more ideas being shown. So hopefully all 3 people that come and look at this little blog of death will enjoy it. Until then friends.

Alex Funderburks evil art show

So I haven't been showing gloom much love lately. A doodle here a doodle there, but nothing major. I haven't been going out too much either. I've been a bit of a home body as of lately. But when I heard about Co-worker/pal/evil genius Alex Funderburk was having an art show I knew I had to go support my good pal. Here are some pictures I took of his epic art show, without a doubt some of his best work to date. It's really good.

Here is Kelly Thacker, Alex asked her to paint something on the wall and she did with such expertise. This massive painting was done free hand, which is crazy cause its so massive. But it turned out great.

I congratulated Alex when I showed up with a 40 of Mickeys for all of the hard work he put into the art show.
The picture Alex did on the wall of epic glory.
The inside of the show. Every piece looked so good, I am so excited for this gentle giant.

Prints that he was selling at the show as well. I believe Alex is selling them on his website thesacredbeast.com

Some of the detail he put into the paintings.

The installation he did on one of the walls, I should have take a picture of someone next to it so you could see the true magnitude.
Then as I was walking around the gallery, which was massive, there was an antique shop in the back of the gallery with the most amazing things I have seen in a while.

Such as this amazing tiger rug that I need.

Future family portrait?

Can this be true?

Finally after walking around for a bit and eating the best veggie tacos ever, I snapped these photos of friends and called it a night.

Kelly Thacker at her best
Her husband Kyle who is also an evil delight to converse with
Kyle, Kelly and Toddland
Alex and Todd
The last chug of the Mickeys and I called it a night. Congratulations to Alex for the epic work. Go to his website thesacredbeast.com and kellys website letsdiefriends.com and buy and check out some more of their wonderful art.

Bit of a funk

Well it seems I've been in a bit of a funk as of lately. A lot has happened to me in the last couple weeks. I have no new art to put up, hopefully soon I can get out of my funk. Hopefully some good comes my way. Only time and patience will tell. Until there here are some polaroids that I have taken recently. I shoot with a polaroid land camera 350. It's such a fun camera to have. All of the film i use is fuji 100c or if I shoot black and white then I use fuji 3000bw. The 3000 is so sharp its insane.  So I hope that the four people that know about this blog enjoy these pictures that I put up. Enjoy. Oh and I hope that good things come to me soon.

Here is a picture that I took of Loren one sunny afternoon in the Orange Circle. I think it might be one of my favorite pictures of her of all time.

This is another picture that I took in the Orange Circle at at about the time of sunset. What's crazy about this picture is the fact that it looks like there is a solar eclipse over the sun because of the over exposure.

This is a picture of the ever famous Dj Gmo Jumping on a trampoline on Easter of this past year. The blurred trees in the back round make this picture perfect.

This is one of the first pictures that I took with the camera.  This is a picture of the Paul Frank art department. In the picture is Mike Smith, Alex Funderburk, and Kelly Thacker. Aka the gnarest crew to date.

I dont really know how to explain this picture. I was walking around with Loren in Orange one day. We walked over to the library and i decided to walk barefoot, so she did too. I love how green the grass is in this picture. I guess the only way to explain this picture is love.

Hello

This fine little page is about a little clothing company i am trying to start along with with my dark lord of a friend Alex Funderburk, who is also know to me as Thunderfist. He is one man who enjoys making art, talking about, or watching gruesome evil ideas come to life. He is a great pal and wonderful adversary to have in this dark little world that I am attempting to create.

We have some amazing ideas that I cant wait to bring to life. Some wonderful artists that are friends of mine and Mr. Thunderfists that I cant wait to work with. The whole idea about gloom is not to let anyone tell us what to do, what to make. Whatever we like we are going to make. I am so excited to get the ball rolling on this. I am hoping that within the next couple of months we will be slapping some stickers up, getting tee shirts made, and hopefully even a hoodie.

Here is a sneak preview of what our first tee is going to look like. It was created by the ever wonderful, lover of unicorns, centaurs and all things majestic. She is an amazing delight that I am very excited to have do some epic art for gloom. The one and only Kelly Thacker. When she showed me this drawing i was so excited i wanted to take it to get printed immediately. I LOVE this design so much. It embodies everything gloom stands for. So please enjoy. The moment it gets printed I will let this blog that all negative four people read.

It's all about the details..
